The Stag is a sculpture that emphasises the nobility of the animal and the presence it has in Scottish culture.

It is made out of rusted thick sheet metal with several stainless steel elements. In total the head contains 148 elements which are all connected in the inside of the head. A strong light is mounted in the head which creates an interference pattern on the walls radiating from the head. The light responds to touch, enabling the person to interact with the animal to feel its heartbeat, tickle the ears and become absorbed by the light pattern growing all around.
